This is a vintage Norwegian M1 military helmet set, complete with the original olive green mesh net cover, period scrim, and detachable liner.
The construction is authentic Norwegian steel, marked internally, and features original olive drab paint visible beneath the liner. It includes a period-correct wide webbing chinstrap with a metal hook-and-slot closure.
The adjustable internal webbing liner band features a brown leather sweatband and original textile fittings. This iconic design was used by Norwegian and Commonwealth forces during WWII and the postwar period.
**Condition Notes:** The helmet is in good vintage condition, displaying general surface wear and signs of age. The chinstrap hardware shows some oxidization and patina, and the net cover has visible period repairs and fraying. This item is sold as-is for collectors or historical militaria display.
